Why did Château d’Esclans decide to participate in World’s Best Sommeliers' Selection (WBSS)?
When we received your initial solicitation for the first such event and considered the total offer highlighting the features and benefits for participation, we knew that this opportunity was in alignment with our objectives and strategies to reach prospects of the correct echelon who are best qualified to appreciate and promote the unique characteristics of our Estate Collection Wines encompassing Château d’Esclans, Les Clans, and Garrus.
How would you describe your wines?
These three wines are considered to be within the super-premium to ultra-luxury category of Rosés, which is a highly select classification. Such wines, according to provisional statistics, represent less than one percent of the category and are crafted by producers dedicated to serious winemaking. They are also considered to be amongst the greatest Rosés (if not fine wines) in the world.
How does WBSS benefit your brand?
Given the sophisticated, complex, and layered taste profile of this unmatched range of exquisite wines, coupled with their strong potential to appeal to discerning wine consumers, your platform affords an ideal means to gain amplified exposure. It enhances awareness, stimulates trial, and secures listings in selective establishments, such as the world’s 50 Best Restaurants and other venues aspiring to this elite category.
Would you recommend WBSS to others?
The proposition of participating in the World’s Best Sommelier Selection makes for undisputed viability from a communications perspective and is well worth continuing for a second year in a row. We look forward to ongoing and highly positive results.
