A leader in her field and one of the most accomplished Thai wine professionals, Phuengthum Khathipphathee has been recognised by many industry professionals for her work in Bangkok, including Dom Pérignon.
Winning ways
Khathipphathee is one of Thailand's top sommeliers, having achieved the Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level 3 Award. She has elevated restaurant Potong's wine programme to international acclaim, winning Asia's Regional Winner for Best Designed Wine List, Most Original Wine List and Best Organic Wine List from World of Fine Wine, alongside Pairing of the Year from Koktail Magazine.
Mixing it up
As part of the restaurant's Sato and mixology team, she also earned recognition at the 2024 Sato Competition with the People's Choice Award and Best Traditional Sato (Bronze). Under her leadership, Potong became Thailand's first and only restaurant to be invited to join the global Dom Pérignon Society, which recognises restaurants that share the unmistakable characteristics of the Dom Pérignon brand: quality, exclusivity, refinement and excellence.
She continues to shape Bangkok's wine culture through creative pairings, thoughtful curation and her commitment to the highest standards of hospitality.
