Hailing from Argentina's Uco Valley, the composition of Rutini Apartado Nature varies each year. The 2017 vintage is made from a blend of 70% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay, and the high percentage of pinot has created a rich and structured sparkler brimming with orchard fruit flavours. Enjoy it with pan-seared scallops in brown butter.

Apartado Nature represents a more contemplative expression within the range, blending select varieties from top Uco Valley vineyards. Rutini's long-standing reputation stems from its ability to identify parcels that deliver exceptional balance, especially in cooler, higher-altitude sites.

The 2017 vintage was defined by concentration and structure, prompting careful extraction and extended maturation. Fermentation took place in small tanks, followed by ageing in French oak barrels, which added polish and depth.

The final blend reflects a meticulous tasting and selection process aimed at capturing complexity, finesse and longevity. Apartado Nature embodies Rutini's heritage while embracing a modern, elegant style: layered fruit, refined tannins and a persistent mineral finish shaped by the Andes.

NOTES

Golden in the glass, this Argentine fizz kicks off with orchard and stone fruit notes of red apple, ripe peach, pear and apricot. There's candied orange peel, dried fruits, and notes of toasted brioche and pastry in the mix too. On the palate it's concentrated and rich with sweet spices and roasted hazelnuts come through from the oak. With fine bubbles and a persistent mousse, it's a structured style of sparkling wine with a long nutty finish.
