Bodega Colomé, founded in 1831, is Argentina's oldest working winery and a global pioneer of extreme‑altitude viticulture in the Calchaquí Valley. Its vineyards range from 2,300 to over 3,000 metres, producing intensely aromatic, fresh and concentrated wines shaped by altitude and sunshine.

Revitalised by Donald Hess in the early 2000s, the estate champions biodynamic practices, cultural preservation and minimal‑intervention winemaking. El Arenal reflects Colomé's distinctive high‑altitude signature – purity, vibrancy and terroir‑driven character rooted in nearly 200 years of winemaking heritage.
Sustainably farmed grapes and the magic of El Arenal produce an incredibly sophisticated tannin structure, and result in a supreme balance of fruit, freshness, power, complexity and elegance that only this extreme altitude has to offer. El Arenal Single Vineyard is the culmination of the dedication, patience, and untamable spirit of innovation of Colomé.
