Cantina Clara Marcelli is a family‑run organic estate founded in 1992 in the hills of the Marche's Piceno region. The Colletta family farms 14 hectares of vines within a biodiverse environment of olive groves and woodland, benefitting from Adriatic breezes and Apennine influence.

Their philosophy prioritises minimal intervention, manual harvesting and native varieties such as montepulciano and sangiovese. Ruggine reflects the estate's commitment to authenticity and regional character, shaped by organic farming and a deep respect for local terroir.
This bottling is made with vines trained using the spurred cordon system with very low yields per hectare. Five years of aging between steel, oak and bottle make for a characterful wine. On the palate, it is juicy and elegant with good dense tannins and peppery notes on the finish.
