Quinta da Côrte, based in the Cima Corgo, is known for combining traditional Douro Valley viticulture with a contemporary approach to dry wine production.

The TNX cuvée focuses on touriga nacional, sourced from steep schist terraces that deliver low yields and concentrated fruit. The 2021 vintage reflects a philosophy of minimal intervention and parcel expression: hand harvesting, foot treading in lagares for precise yet gentle extraction and fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks to retain vibrancy.
Ageing takes place in French oak – mostly used barrels – to frame the wine's structure without overshadowing the fruit's purity. Quinta da Côrte's style emphasises elegance over density, resulting in a Douro red that balances deep berry flavours with savoury schist‑driven minerality. The TNX 2021 presents a refined, modern interpretation of the Douro, combining freshness, aromatic complexity, and fine‑grained tannins.
