Made from 100% grillo grapes grown on limestone soils close to the sea in the Sicilian sub-region of Vendicari, Viabizzunoagricola Donnacricri 2023 is no shrinking violet. Bursting with character and texture, it's packed with peach, pear and apricot, and has a salty tang to it. Try it with lobster tacos.

donnacricri

Viabizzunoagricola is a small, design‑driven agricultural project rooted in Emilia-Romagna and closely linked to the creative ethos of Viabizzuno, the renowned Italian lighting studio.

The estate approaches wine as both craft and cultural expression, integrating aesthetics, sustainability and careful vineyard stewardship.

Donnacricri

Donnacricri 2023 is produced from organically farmed local varieties, vinified with minimal intervention to highlight purity and authenticity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel or concrete, depending on the lot, with limited sulphur and gentle handling.

The wine reflects a thoughtful, artisanal philosophy – bright, textural and expressive of the region's character. Donnnacricri speaks to Viabizzunoagricola's interdisciplinary approach, blending agricultural heritage with contemporary creativity.

Tasting
NOTES

A white full of character, intense aromas of orchard fruit: ripe white peach, pear, nectarine and apricot jump out of the glass. There are white flowers and herbal notes in the mix too. Fresh and bright from its racy acidity, which balances out its medium body, on the palate you'll find flavours of baked lemon and roasted hazelnuts. It has a salty tang to it, a lick of minerality, and a slightly oily texture.

Food
PAIRINGS

This peachy grillo shines with seafood. Try it with lobster tacos with pickled taro, razor clam ceviche, or lightly grilled seabass in a lemony butter sauce.
