Quinta do Crasto is one of the Douro's legendary estates, with a documented history stretching back to 1615 and a reputation built on its commanding position above the river near Pinhão. Still family‑owned, the estate has spent the last few decades refining both its dry wines and its distinguished range of aged tawnies.

The 30 Years Old Tawny reflects Crasto's deep library of old stocks, carefully maintained through generations. Wines destined for long ageing are drawn from traditional field‑blend vineyards and matured in old Portuguese and French oak pipes, where slow oxidative development builds layers of dried fruit, citrus peel, caramel and spice. Blending is a key part of the house style, overseen to ensure harmony and freshness despite the wine's age. The result captures the essence of Crasto's heritage: complexity, balance and a sense of timeless Douro craftsmanship.
